I just had this experience at the car dealer this weekend. The chair was excruciating. I hate armed chairs.

I hear you. I’m flying with my son next week… well, let’s just say the last time I was on a plane I was about 30 lbs less and it wasn’t feeling overly roomy. NOW… I’m going to have to wedge my butt into the seat, hope the seatbelt fits (asking for a seatbelt extention seems like the ultimate in humiliation to me) and attempt to do this while wrestling with an 11 month old. I’m holding out hope that there will be empty seats on the plane so I don’t feel like I’m invading my seatmates space with my “overflow”.
